COMENTARIOS:

Se fiscalizaron por exceso de velocidad mediante el uso de radares en las carreteras 416 vehículos.

De 406 accidentes de tránsito registrados, de estos, 172 ocurrieron en horario de las 12 de la media noche a las 6 am para un 42.36%.

De los 31 fallecidos por accidentes de tránsito, 23 involucraron motocicletas para un 74.19% del total por transito.

De los accidentes registrados se involucraron 120 vehículos livianos, 6 vehículos pesados  y 280 motocicletas.

De estos accidentes registrados, 193 ocurrieron en autopistas y 213 en cascos urbanos.

De los 264 intoxicados por alcohol figuran 29 menores, cuyas edades oscilan entre 12 y 17 años.

De los casos de personas afectadas, 192 fueron atendidos por los técnicos de las Bici-Ambulancias.

Las provincias que  reportaron más casos fueron: Santiago, Puerto Plata, Monseñor Nouel, San Cristóbal, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Distrito Nacional y la Provincia Santo Domingo.
